Background
Once upon a time, there was a young man named Timothy Desmond. Tim was of Irish/Russian descent, which, yes is relevant. Tim lived a rather ordinary life in Brooklyn. Even ignoring the fact that his father had disappeared when he was a kid. And that the apartment he shared with his mother had only one bedroom and thus he slept on the pull out bed on the couch.
All he wanted out of life was to survive, and graduate high school, go to Princeton University, and win the heart of the lovely and aloof T'ing Hau Kaplan. This all changed when a beautiful, and naked, blond girl showed up while he was babysitting. While he was babysitting the worst behaved boys on the face of the planet. (It took a Mongol Warlord to get the youngest under control)
Tim quickly learns that this girl is his family Banshee, who has arrived to mourn his death, though she seems unable to tell when that might be. Not only that but other Fae creatures begin popping up all over the city. The love of his life is being haunted by an ancestral spirit, and his own apartment becomes home to a Russian bath house sprite, and hobgoblin.
It seems that a hundred years ago, the humans who had immigrated to America, bringing their folk tales with them, started getting ridiculed for these beliefs. So there was a general agreement to stop believing in them. The Fae, the Monsters, and all such creatures were banished to a realm called The Leeside, or the Cold Lands. But now, a tiny hole has appeared in the wall of the Leeside, just big enough for the Fae to escape. This all leads up to Tim becoming the Dread and Puissant Champion of the Fey. Which, in the beginning, is just a PR job.
The next year however, he is extorted by Baba Yaga into helping reintegrate the escaping monsters into society. He defeated her with the help of the Fae, and several legendary heroes.
The following year, during his freshman tenure at Princeton, he had to stop the End Of The World, at the hands of Loki. This involved a scenic trip through several afterlives, including Hell. In the end, the world was saved. By Samba.
Where Canon and charactername go separate ways
The Canon for Tim is three books, Gnome Man's Land (Junior Year High School), Harpy High (Senior Year), and Unicorn U (Freshman Year College). Tim's time in Fandom took place over the summer between Gnome Man's Land and Harpy High. His adventures there do not actually change much in canon, but does fill in a few gaps. For instance by Harpy High Tim has figured out how to shoot magic bolts with his sword, and also summon it to his hand, these he learns while in Fandom.
The actual change made is that in canon, Tim and T'ing start out Harpy High as a couple, but Fandom Tim did not actually get together with her until Harpy High.

Living Arrangements
While living in the dorms, Tim stayed in room 314 with Conner McKnight. During the period where they stayed in the Cabins, Tim lived in PuffinA with Kinomoto Sakura, Edward Elric and Stark.
Relationships
While at Fandom, Tim became friends with several students including Lana Lang, John Connor, Pippi Longstocking, River Tam (II), Ranma Saotome and Setsuna Sakurazaki.
He also became romantically involved with Gwynn Hood.
Classes
Tim attended workshops in Storytelling and Applied Dadaism, among others.

Tim was among the characters who received an unexpected visit from Angelo when the young empath mailed himself to Fandom.
