Zero is the youngest child of Dirk Savage and Nikki Hopeless, punk rock royalty. She has an older sister, Arsenal, and two older brothers, Twitch and Rat Bastard, as well as a twin niece and nephew, Bru and B.B.

Zero owns a leadbeater cockatoo named Fish, who swears in Chinese and occasionally very disturbingly asks, "ARE YOU MY MUMMY?"
She is best friends with M. Parker, ever since they painted the roof of the dorm with an alien landing pad along with Hamlet, Angela Chase and Joan Girardi. A few weeks later she yelled at Rob Gordon to quit stalking Parker during his "Say Anything" moment.

Has been arrested in Scotland (protesting) and was banned for life from Turkey before she was born. She's also been arrested in one other country, but she's never said where.
