Basics

A radio station run by Barbossa and his band of slightly intoxicated, completely insane broadcasters, aided by anonymous sources (mostly woodland creatures (Squirrels), an elaborate, if handwaved, system of bugs and the occasional wandering shrub) to put out a daily broadcast of what happened in Fandom.

Barbossa also hosts a weekly program called Wine, Wenches 'n Song, where he plays requests and dispenses love advice. Since he's a pirate, the advice tends to center around getting drunk and finding wenches women of negotiable affection.

Layout

The radio station (first floor) has a control booth with every song or special effect noise you could possibly need, and desks outside for the various announcers to read their notes over and drink rum.

There's also tiny notebooks and pencils near the windows for the squirrels to take (and tiny bottles of rum on payday).

The floor is liberally strewn with paper and nuts, and the good rum is kept in a safe that may or may not be locked depending on the pirate's degree of intoxication that day.

Barbossa lives on the second floor. In his room is a hammock, chests full of treasure, pirate outfits, apples and rum, and a picture of Miho. The kitchen, also upstairs, has never been used.

There is also a room in the back that is guarded even more carefully than the rum: it contains every broadcast ever produced and all of the notes that went with it.

This is also where Barbossa keeps archival videos that he might have acquired from enterprising droids or roommates.

OOC

The fandom_radio commmunity tries to provide a comprehensive rundown of the day's events at Fandom High, but will only link to threads that are open to the entire community (that is, nothing marked private, OOC, or locked as not for broadcast (NFB)). They also will only report general information -- not specific medical conditions regarding clinic visits and therapy sessions.
