Background
Piper was the second born daughter of Patty Halliwell and Victor Bennett. Victor left when she was very young and her mother died a year later. Since then, she was raised by her grandmother, Penny Halliwell.
She was born and raised in San Francisco and had no knowledge about her wiccan ancestry. While her sisters Phoebe and Prue were more outgoing, Piper was shy and introverted. She was often stuck in the middle of her sisters' squabbles.
She has a natural talent for cooking.
Where Canon and Piper go separate ways
On the show, Piper and her sisters did not get their powers until their grandmother died. Because she bound their powers when they were children to protect them, her death was the only thing that would release them. Things were done a little differently in Fandom. The weirdness of the town caused their powers to manifest sooner. Also, Piper's year of birth was changed. She also learned about her half-sister Paige a lot sooner.

Living Arrangements
Piper first lived in the North Attic with Paige Matthews and Terra Branford. Terra disappeared soon after.
When Paige moved out, Piper moved into the East Attic with Kitty Pryde and Rogue. Unfortunately, Kitty was killed and Rogue left soon after. Veronica Mars and Chloe Sullivan moved in and lived there until they graduated.
Piper lived in a single room on the first floor (124) during the summer.
She sometimes lived in Flamingo Cabin B with Veronica and Chloe. Callisto, Xander Harris, and Anakin Skywalker lived on the otherside.
Piper left Fandom at the end of the summer to go to college. She currently lives in a Neptune apartment with Veronica.
