Background
Meg Manning grew up in the illustrious 90909 zip code in Neptune, California. She grew up among the very wealthy and was part of the '09er clique in high school. Meg is, in Veronica Mars' words, "the last good person in Neptune High". She's sweet, she's caring and she is one of the few that doesn't take part of the class separation in Neptune. Even after all of her friends shunned Veronica she tried very hard to still be friends with her. Meg's good nature often caused jealousy in the other '09er girls, two of them even posting a fake sex quiz under Meg's name that ruined her relationship with her boyfriend Cole.
When Meg started dating Duncan Kane, her friendship with Veronica became strained. Especially after it became clear that Duncan still had feelings for his ex. The friendship ended for good after Duncan dumped Meg to go pursue Veronica.
Where Canon and Character go separate ways
Season two of Veronica Mars starts with Meg secretly pregnant with Duncan Kane's child and bitter at the world. She also becomes the sole (but comatose) surivior of a bus crash. She eventually dies of a blot clot after giving birth to a daughter and reconciling with Veronica.
Fandom's version of Meg isn't pregnant but she's still bitter at the world. Lucky for her, her arrival in Fandom helps her avoid being part of the bus crash. She's trying to continue life in Fandom without being involved in Neptune's drama.

Meg turned into an older version of herself for several days shortly after the plaaaaaaague. She was a much more solemn, jaded person who had been dumped by Duncan Kane. She ended up sleeping with Johnny Storm as her older self.
Angelus Redux
Meg got attacked by Angelus when he was back in Fandom in December. She was saved by Mel Fray and her injuries were patched up by Dean Winchester. Later in the week she was completely healed by Wyatt Halliwell.
Wheeler Plot
Meg was abducted by Clayton Wheeler during a shopping with Isabel Evans. They wanted to use Isabel and her powers to help a woman named Meris. Meg was eventually rescued but not before seeing her friend dissolve into dust (don't worry; she got better).
Weeping Angels
Meg helped out during the plot by finding an advertisement for the Winchester Journal, that eventually helped to finding out how to defeat the angels.
Weetiny Weekend 08
Meg didn't turn into a kid but she fed a lot of them. A lot.
AU Kid Weekend
Meg got a visit from her and Duncan's child, Lilly. Meg was fond of the girl but was very glad she avoided that future.
Hades Takes Over
In June of '08, Hades tried to take over Fandom. Meg was one of the ones who went down to hell to face Hades in the final battle. She actually kicked some ass, shooting the god and kicking him in the crotch. She was also the one who closed the gateway to hell with a harp.
