Background

One night, five thirteen-year-old kids were hanging out at the mall. It was dark, so they decided to walk home together. On they way home, they cut across an abandonded mall. And they meet a dying alien who gives them the power to morph into any animal who's DNA they have absorbed. Because the alien? Tells them that human race is being taken over by another alien race. Yeerks, parasites, who can't live without a host body. And their next target is Earth.

Family

Mother: Very little is known about Eva other than the fact that she's Hispanic, loves boating, and died when Marco was eleven. Well...sort of died. Her body was taken over by Visser One and she's been alive and relatively well out in space. She also manages to survive being frown off of a cliff, gored half to death, and massive amounts of tortue. Yes, she's human.

Father: Peter spends two years in a deep depression over his wife's death. He then snaps out of it and goes back to his original job as a software engineer. Then he meets a gorilla who turns into his son.

Step-Mother: Peter marries Marco's math teacher for reasons that are not quite clear. She has a dog. He's annoying and tried to eat Marco's jeans once.

Friends

Back Home

Jake: They've been best-friends forever. Their days are spent at the mall, playing video games, or at Jake's house. Playing video games. Marco is the one who sees the truth's Jake is ignoring.

Rachel: Jake's warrior-woman like cousin. Marco has a small crush on her. She thinks he's annoying. And a wimp. And short.

Cassie: Rachel's best-friend. She and Marco barely knew each other before That Night.

Tobias: Marco barely noticed Tobias before. After Tobias got turned into a hawk, Marco decided that calling him bird-boy t every opportunity was a good idea. Tobias disagreed.

Ax: The two never quite understood each other. Possibly because Ax is an Andelite and doesn't have much of an understanding of human humor and Marco lives and breathes sarcasm.

In Fandom

M. Parker: Miss Parker was one of the first people Marco met. She scared him, he drove her nuts, it was all good.

Annette Hargrove: Annette was one of the first people to find out about Marco's unusual abilities. She wound up cuddling with Marco while he was small and fuzzy but before she knew it was him. Marco had a small crush on Annette and was less then happy when she started seeing Dick Casablancas though he hasn't done anything about it but mope.

Turtle Wexler: Marco likes to annoy Turtle. Turtle thinks he's a pest. They understand each other.

Where Canon and Character go separate ways

Right after rescuing his mother and putting his life, or well, un-life since he's sort of legally dead, back together, Marco finds out about Fandom. And against his protests, his parents band together and ship him off there, figuring anything is better than having to hide among a race of alien can openers. Plus, there are no alien invasions in Fandom. Usually.

Living Arrangements

Marco moved into 412 with Setsuna. There was a lot of flailing over gender the first few days. The room has no bathroom, so that probably didn't help things. Setsuna moved out at the end of Spring 07. Marco then got a new roommate Donatello who he didn't get to meet for four weeks due to Vending Machinenes and the flu. Their first conversation had a lot of flailing from Marco's side.

Adventures

Creepy Shadows

Marco was one of the people attacked by the shadow creatures and he began to fade out which freaked him out, as would be expected.

Vending Machine

At the end of the Spring 2007 semester, Marco accidentally turned into a Vending Machine. He wasn't a working vending machine, though, so he didn't sell any kidneys or other organs that he might need later.

Dinosaurs

Marco went out for a walk, ran into a Sabre-Toothed Tiger, got rather severly mauled, and then made a strategic escape back to the school. As a poodle.
