Background
Jaye is the youngest in a well-to-do family from Niagara Falls, NY. Father Darrin is a doctor, mother Karen is an author, sister Sharon is a lawyer and brother Aaron is a comparative religions major. Jaye is smart, but has no motivation and doesn't want it.
Then there's that thing where things talk to her. Whether it's messages from some higher power or Jaye's own psychosis, any inanimate animal can start talking to her at any moment, telling her to do things. Usually it ends up making things better for other people, if not Jaye.
Where Canon and Jaye go separate ways
In the show, Jaye is 24 and working at a gift shop in Niagara Falls. In Fandom, she starts at 16 and while she hasn't had the Wonderfalls job yet, she's got things talking to her. Some canon events from the show has happened: Jaye's parents sent her to Fandom after a couple animal-related arrests/incidents with the police. (Sharon believes she's at a school for juvenile delinquents.)

Jaye lived in 417. Originally she shared the room with Rose Tyler (I), but since Rose graduated, it's all hers. Though some could argue she shares it with the myriad of stuffed/plastic/brass/wax animals. The room then went to Neville Longbottom and Victor von Doom. |

Relationships
Jaye's had a string of truncated relationships since starting at Fandom High. She dated Archie Kennedy for a while starting in January of 2006, before she decided she wasn't ready for an actual relationship. This led to flinging with Cameron Mitchell, which led to them deciding to date. After one of Jaye's messages drove her to a little breakdown, she broke off the relationship. A friends with benefits type deal with Jack Harkness turned into them just being friends, as did a casual dating thing with Alec. That relationship ended when Jaye wanted more from it, only to discover Alec was also with Dean Winchester. And after not-dating a little, she and Eric Weiss are just friends. She most recently dated Jarod, and they are technically not together as they both left Fandom, but they have sort of stayed in contact, and she went to visit him in Kansas in September 2007.
She has also been on dates with Number Six, Blair Sandburg, Logan Echolls, Jarod, William Kessler, Jack Harkness. She's also kissed Angela Chase and M. Parker in Spin the Bottle, Rory Gilmore in exchange for boykissy, and Chloe Sullivan and Seely Booth at kissing booths.
Noteable friendships include Alec, Samantha Carter, Jack Harkness, Rory Gilmore, M. Parker, Angela Chase, Martin Blank, Dean Winchester, Cedric Diggory, Rose Tyler (II) and Buffy Summers (II). She calls Peter Parker "King Dork."

Job
Jaye was the office manager at Angel's PI agency. What the job actually entails, possibly no one knows. She did this while going to UCLA as a philosophy major. Yeah, she just slacked all the way around.

Jaye moved into the apartment above Mystery Science Theater 3000 where she used to work, and lives alone. She likes it that way.
Job
Jaye came back to town in order to take over Pirate Radio from Barbossa for the summer, though she also took a job at Caritas on Saturday nights, just for the chance of free alcohol.

Living Arrangements
Jaye left Fandom assuming she could just start going to school at Brown University. Unfortunately, Ivy League schools don't just let you transfer all willy nilly, and she would have to wait till January to enroll. Till then, Jaye is having to live at home. With her family.

Zombie weekend
Totally hid in her room, but was happy to try and loot stuff afterwards.
Finding Kitty Pryde's killer
Having been forced by the animals to meet Veronica Mars, Jaye had to go dumpster diving in an alley to find the recorder that revealed Kitty's murderer.
Gremlin bite #1
Jaye was bitten by a gremlin in her room, making her believe that she was a cop who had to uphold justice. She tried arresting people with imaginary handcuffs and making them sit in a corner of the room. She even tried arresting The Tick.
Heart Attack Santa
Upon going home for Christmas in 2005, Jaye was in the right place at the right time to save a Salvation Army worker dressed as Santa from a heart attack.
Snow monster weekend
Jaye had been going to hide in the common room, away from all the monsters, but eventually made it to the roof, where she was not only the last person standing, but also accidentally killed a snow monster with a glitter flag. She felt really bad afterwards.
Gremlin bite #2
At a Gremlin Bite Survivors Support Group meeting, everyone was bitten by gremlins and believed they were members of the Brady Bunch. Jaye thought she was Jan. There was singing at Caritas, and it should be noted that Jan kicked Marcia's ass at the potato sack race.
Whoremodding
Jaye was told to hook up the clerk at JGOB with Viv, one of the hookers at the Sin. She let things go too long before listening to the messages, and as it became harder and harder to get things to work the way they needed to go, she had a wee little nervous breakdown. The hooker and the clerk are together, but they hate her.
Jaye is super!
Thanks to a spell gone wrong by Logan Echolls, Jaye had superpowers for a couple days that enabled her to stick to the walls and ceiling when she danced.
Weetiny weekend
Jaye was turned into a newly-four-year-old, who had no idea how to work a phone and learned that baths cause plague. She was very sticky by the end.
Trip to Coruscant
Flight and Flying class returned to Coruscant for a field trip, in which they were supposed to fly Jedi starfighters. Jaye was so worried she was going to crash that she wrote out a will before leaving Earth, and then talked her way out of not actually flying. Instead she busied herself with shopping on the planet and trying to get Obi-wan Kenobi to go out with her by making younglings sing. The date turned into her, Obi-wan and Anakin Skywalker getting drunk at a bar, and the boykissy made it all worth it.
Troll weekend
She was out of town, getting a guy to get his cancerous mole looked at. She was pissed when she came back after the fight.
AU weekend
Having stayed normal, Jaye just took pictures. The lion cub was her favorite.
Stick!Jaye
Completely randomly, Jaye turned into a stick figure, completely with three fingers on each hand. After a week, she changed back to her normal self, happy to be 3-D again.
AU Kids
Jaye was surprised by two children from an alternate universe: Emily McDowell, her daughter with Alec, and Qui-Gon Kenobi, aka Obi-wan Jr, aka OJ, her son with Obi-wan. Jaye mostly tried to avoid them, letting them go off on their own just so she could have quiet time.
Weetiny weekend 2
For a weekend in April, Jaye was again five years old, and mostly in search of sugar. This led to a very messy ice cream fest with Annette Hargrove.
Graduation
Jaye was not happy when aliens invaded right after she graduated (and didn't fall, thank you), mostly because her parents and brother were there. When the aliens attacked, trapping the seniors in a force field, Jaye threw glitter at one, blinding it, and then hid under a chair, cheering everyone else on.
BTTF/Alterna-Aly
When Charlie Kawalsky and Alanna Trebond broke up, it caused changes in Alianne of Pirate's Swoop, who they didn't realize was Kawalsky's daughter. The lion told Jaye to get them back together, but every time she tried something, it just caused another change to Aly. Finally Jaye got tired of it and locked Kawalsky and Alanna in her room until they talked things out, with help from the Jamie Madrox serenade. They worked things out, and Aly was restored to normal.
Saving the world with Jack
Jaye got a call from Jack Harkness, who she thought was gone forever, telling her he needed her help in saving the world. Since she had nothing better to go, she met him at a supermarket, where they had to open tons of boxes of Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs to find the true decoder ring hidden in the packaging. While there they came across Mandark, who was after the same ring and send robots after them. Mandark was more than happy to give up the ring, though, due to his insane wanting of Jaye to be his queen, the poor bitch. After escaping the store and letting Mandark take the rap for what was partially their crime, Jaye joined Jack for a little weekend jaunt to the 49th Century.
Angelus' Return
Though Jaye was in LA when Angel was accidentally desouled into becoming Angelus, she wasn't unaffected by this. The muses gave her a message to "return to the strange place", which she knew meant Fandom and she was happy to go back. The problem was that once she got there and checked into The Arms Hotel, she discovered that Angelus was walking around and attacking people. Though Jaye wanted to leave, the animals kept giving her a message to "save the doc". Tired of the messages and wanting to get away from where her mass murdering boss was, she started randomly asking people to save a doc, and she happened to give the message to Peter Petrelli, who was the intended recipient. When the animals stopped talking to her, Jaye high tailed it back to LA just long enough to go back to Niagara Falls for a while.
Getting Home for Christmas 2007
This proved a little bit of a problem for Jaye, who had some serious problems with Portalocity over the holiday season. After ending up in a few wrong time periods/countries/dimensions, her luggage ended up in Mongolia. She finally got home for Christmas a day late.
Genderswap Day
Despite not being in Fandom, Jaye was turned into a guy for the day. Refusing to leave her room and have to explain this to her parents, she just E-mailed Chloe Sullivan instead.
Soap Opera Weekend
Jaye was involved in a tragic rickshaw accident and was sent off a cliff. She had to go to Switzerland for facial reconstruction, and came back looking like Lauren Conrad. She changed back the next day in front of a perfectly normal Angela Montenegro.
