Background
Cedric Diggory hails from Ottery Street Catchpole and had attended the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry before being transferred to Fandom High.
Cedric was a member of the Hufflepuff house, captain and seeker of the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team and a prefect. He was an excellent student during his time at Hogwarts.
During his sixth year at Hogwarts, Cedric was selected to participate in the Triwizard Tournament. His performance through the first two tasks was high caliber and, going into the final task, he was favored to win.
That's, of course, when everything changed...
Where Canon and charactername go separate ways
In canon, Cedric Diggory meets a rather unfortunate fate. During the final task of the Triwizard Tournament, he is murdered by Lord Voldemort's lackey, Wormtail. Harry Potter brought his body back to Hogwarts.
At Fandom High, Cedric Diggory is not dead. Just before competing in the final task, he's pulled aside by Professor Dumbledore and told he's transferring to Fandom High immediately. He is unable to say goodbyes to his family before he's shown the way to a portkey and ends up at Fandom High with a small bag of belongings and a lot of confusion.
Cedric has recently learned that he was, in fact, supposed to die that day (during a conversation with Hermione Granger).

Living Arrangements
Cedric lives in room 420 and his first ever roommate was Dean Winchester. They got along well and Cedric's even adopted Dean's methods of keeping demons at bay. Dean has just recently moved to a different room, leaving Cedric with a double room all to himself.
During the summer session, Cedric was in Seahorse B with Jack Harkness, Samantha Carter, and D'anna Biers. The cabin became affectionately known as Seawhorse cabin (coined by Jaye Tyler).
Relationships
Currently, Cedric's in an undefinable relationship with Jack Harkness. They set up their first date upon first meeting in the second floor common room. They had their actual first date at Jeff, the God of Biscuits and shared their first kiss during that time as well. Cedric also purchased a plant for Jack. It holds sort of a special meaning for Jack and, conversely, Cedric.
The only people who know that Cedric was meant to die are Jack Harkness, Hermione Granger and Samantha Carter. He hasn't yet told anyone else.
During the early part of Cedric's relationship with Jack, he also kissed Alec at the insistence of Jaye Tyler and Rory Gilmore.
Cedric considers Jack Harkness, Isabel Evans, Samantha Carter, and Hermione Granger as those he's closest to right now.

Other
Cedric is a skilled wizard who needs his wand to perform any sort of magical spell. His wand is twelve and a quarter inches, made of ash wood and contains a single feather from a male unicorn.
Adventures
Jack's Confessions
For awhile, Cedric and Jack's relationship was one of enjoyment and mutual attraction to each other. Then came the night Jack returned from visiting CJ Cregg. The situation between Cedric and Jack turned volatile quickly until Cedric confessed to deeper feelings for Jack and Jack, in turn, told Cedric about his past and his missing memories.
Hush Plot
Cedric first brush with the danger at Fandom High came when he was attacked and injured by The Gentlemen. He received two lacerations for his trouble and temporarily lost his wand (it was later retrieved by Isabel Evans).
Captain Jack
Recently, Jack Harkness was able to uncover his missing memories. It had come at somewhat of a price. On the night of August 20, Cedric came by to spend some time with Jack. Cedric was woken up to the sound of M. Parker banging on Jack's door and Jack being nowhere in sight. Not even hesitating, Cedric had accompanied M. Parker, Samantha Carter, and Isabel Evans down to where Jack was being held prisoner. Or so they all thought. Jack Harkness had already been rescued by himself...in a way. Of course, Jack's actions and deception of those close to him had consequences but Cedric has since resolved those issues with Jack.
