Background
Angela is a completely, boringly average high school student from Three Rivers, a suburb of Pittsburgh. When she was about 15, she started to break out of the "good girl" mold she had been in since birth. The steps she took towards this goal were hanging out with a more wild group of friends, dying her hair red, and quitting yearbook.
She is introverted and introspective, occasionally to a pathological point. She likes to write but is generally pretty apathetic about school, though she doesn't hesitate to take a stand when she believes in something.
Her parents are Graham Chase, a chef, and Patty Wood Chase, who manages a family printing press. She has a sister, Danielle, who is about four years younger.

Where Canon and Fandom go separate ways
Angela is post-series, so canon is ... canon, based on aired episodes only.
In FH canon, she and Jordan Catalano did go off together at the end of the series, but they realized the relationship wouldn't work (read, she still wouldn't put out) pretty quickly. The rest of her sophomore year passed uneventfully; late that summer, her parents sent her off to Fandom to finish high school. Eventually, it became known that this was because they were getting a divorce and felt it would be easiest for everyone if she wasn't in the home. Her parents have since called their divorce off.
Most of Angela's current relationships are as left by canon. Sharon is still a friend, Brian still has a hopeless crush, Danielle is still a pain, and Jordan turned up once just to screw with her heart some more, the meathead. Things with Rayanne were strained throughout her junior year, but they reconciled over the summer.
During Angela's spring break in London, her ability to see ghosts became a key plot point. A conversation with her mother confirmed it was a family trait.
In Fandom
She fell in love, she went to Homecoming, she helped soul Angelus, she went to work in the library, she fought snowmen, she served as backup on an assortment of missions, she went to London, and she hosted a brunch for teal deer. Links to all of the above are in this post
Living Arrangements
Angela initially lived with Sydney Bristow I. After Sydney's departure mid-first semester, she had 304 all to herself, unless you count her cat, Minerva, until spring 2007, when Tori Hanson moved in.
Relationships
Angela has been dating Martin Blank since September 2005, though they have broken up twice. During the first hiatus, she flirted with Geoff Chaucer. She has also kissed Duo Maxwell and Jaye Tyler during Spin the Bottle.
Her closest friends include Rory Gilmore, Zero Hopeless-Savage, Jaye Tyler, M. Parker and Cameron Mitchell.
