Background
Early Childhood
Lady Alanna of Trebond was born a few minutes after her twin brother, Lord Thom of Trebond. A few minutes after that, their mother Lady Thomasina died. All three of them were Gifted, while Lord Alan of Trebond was not. He was so grief-striken by his lovely wife's young death that he forbade Alanna and Thom from ever using their magic again and ignored them for the first eleven years of their lives. Alanna and Thom were instead raised by Maude, their nurse, and Coram, the castle guardsman. Thom liked to learn magic, Alanna liked to beat people up. When Coram tried to teach Thom how to shoot, track, or any other task appropriate for a young Lord, he found it easier to teach Alanna as well. Both twins were very talented but also very different. While Alanna was caring, friendly, and outgoing, Thom cared only about himself and his twin and hated social interacton.
The Switch
At age eleven, Lord Alan decided that it was time to send his kids away. Alanna was to go to a Convent of the Daughters of the Goddess and Thom was to go to be a Page. Neither of them liked this arrangement, so they fixed it. Alanna dressed as a boy, became "Alan" and rode off to Corus to train to be a Knight. Thom changed Alanna's letter to say that he was to study to be a sorcerer.
A Very Small Page
Page Alan of Trebond became quickly well-known at court. The son of a wealthy, but not involved in court politics, family he became friends with the Crown Prince (Jonathan of Conte) and his cousin, the son of the Prime Minister (Gareth of Naxen the Younger). Alan got teased a bit for being small, and at first did not do so well with fencing and other physical tasks. However, due to his stubbornness and need to be the best, he quickly became an excellent fencer. And then...the Plague. It hit Corus when Alan was around 12 and killed the sick and their healers alike. By the time the Crown Prince (Jon) fell sick, there was no one left to help him except Alan, who hadn't revealed that he was Gifted to that point. Alan saved Jon's life, but made Sir Myles, their history teacher, wonder if perhaps Alan was actually Alanna. During this time, Alan also got Lightning, his really weird sword, an enemy in Duke Roger, an enemy in that guy he beat up, and a reputation as a smart alec. George Cooper and his mother found out that Page Alan was in fact Lady Alanna and thought it was funny.
Squire Alan and the Black City
At the end of her work as a Page, Alanna went with the older squires to Petropolis in the desert. It is there she met <insert name here> and found out about the Black City. Bewitched by his cousin Roger, Prince Jonathan decided to ride out to see what was the truth and what wasn't. Alanna decided to go with him to make he sure he wasn't killed. Together, the two defeated the <insert thing here> that lived in the city. In the process, Alanna lost her clothes, thus revealing her true gender to Jon. He didn't care, and named her his squire.
Where Canon and Alanna go separate ways
The main difference between the two is the break up between Jon and Alanna came a good two years early. Alanna breaks away from canon at the end of In The Hand of the Goddess (Book 2) after fighting in the Black City.

Alanna is currently in a relationship with Charlie Kawalsky. They first met in April 2006 when he asked her to prom, despite having only introduced himself officially a few minutes earlier. They developed a friendship from that time which developed into something more. Alanna and Charlie admitted their feelings for each other in November 2006 outside of Charlie's birthday party at Caritas.
Buffy Summers
During a snack run with Molly Hayes and Alec, Alanna stumbled across the girl, half dead. Alanna saved her life through her healing Gift.

Alanna wrote for The Fandom Hightimes from 2005-2007.
In the spring of 2007, she and Rikku wrote the horoscopes that were usually as acurate as weather forecasts.
Alanna started the Self-Defense Club in Fall 2005 and remained tied to it in some capacity until graduation.
She was a member of the Honor Society, Magic Users Club, Fight Club (club) and the Investigator's Club in Spring 2006.
In Spring 2007 she joined Alpha Beta Gremlin, Chess Club.
At some point, she was a member of the Fencing Club.
Throughout her stay at Fandom, Alanna worked at the Fandom Town Emergency Clinic since two days after it started and the day she left.
She spent some time during Summer 2006 as a statue there and got drawn on by Dr. Troy.

Alanna got to play slice and dice outside the front doors with the nice zombies.
Homecoming
Alanna was still dating Jon at the time, so she went stag and wound up standing off to the side mocking and talking to Gregory House.

Prom 2006
Alanna was in charge of decorating for Prom 2006 and wound up going with Charlie Kawalsky who walked up to her in the common room and asked her out, to both their suprise. She had a good time and got to see Faithful dance with Minerva, the cat belonging to Angela Chase. She also made Aeryn Sun's tiara float.
Weetiny Weekend
Are You My Mummy?
Otherwise known as the Mummies plot. Alanna was in Team One, led by Charlie Kawalsky. Afterwards, she used her healing Gift to put Sam Carter and Charlie Kawalsky back together again.
Student Council
Alanna joined the Student Council in the Fall 2005 as co-Securities Officer with Marty Blank. She served as Junior Representative in Spring 2006 and in was the President for the 2006-2007 school year. She and Jamie Madrox clashed heads. Often.
Troll Invasion
December 2006 During the Troll Invasion, Alanna got attacked by a Troll and was helped out of the situation by Alianne. The two then joined Sam Carter and Charlie Kawalsky in camping out and then fighting the Trolls.

Alanna helped save the life of Buffy Summers while looking for muffins.

Prom 2007
Alanna once again went with Charlie Kawalsky. To her shock, she was crowned Prom Queen, along with Jack Harkness who was named Prom King. There were no dead bodies, but it was a near thing.
ZOMGIHAVEAKID Weekend
Alanna had no future children show up, perhaps because her daughter is already at Fandom. She did meet the possible children of her then boyfriend Charlie Kawalsky which didn't hurt at all, really. She also met her future grandchildren from Alianne and Josh Lyman and got more proof that insanity runs in her family.
