Background
Aeryn is Sebacean, an alien species that is sort of a cousin to humans. She grew up as a Peacekeeper, born and raised in the military. Sebaceans are primarily a spaceborn species, so Aeryn spent most of her time on a command carrier, learning how to shoot and kill things. By the age of sixteen she had already seen combat, and been flying in battle for almost a year. Not surprisingly, she's serious and logical and has a bit of a temper, and is also prone to violence.
Where Canon and Aeryn go separate ways
In canon, Aeryn is a Peacekeeper commando who was kicked out of her military after standing up for John Crichton to her commanding officer. She then ended up with him and several other fugitives on a living ship named Moya, trying to outrun everyone chasing them. FH Aeryn is younger, just really starting out. She's an AU, and does know bits and pieces about her canon self.
Aeryn was stationed on Earth as part of a Peacekeeper project, to see what happened when she was taken out of her element. She adjusted to her new setting so well that when she was called back in February of 2006, she disobeyed a direct order on principle. Rather than being sentenced to death, she escaped and returned to Earth via Prowler (once under guard at the Imperial Junkyard, now stationed in Massachusetts privately thanks to Jack Crichton) to rebuild her life and hide out. Her fugitive status is not widely known among the others in Fandom.
In Fandom
Living Arrangements
Aeryn started out in 239 with Jack O'Neill, until the wall between that room and 240 was taken down, and she gained Janet Fraiser, Elizabeth Weir and Charlie Kawalsky as roommates. When Kawalsky moved out, O'Neill moved Martin Blank and Camilla into the room. By this point Aeryn was practically living in 238 anyway with boyfriend John Crichton and his roommate Angel.
She moved out of both room when she left in February of 2006, and moved into 209 by herself upon her return. A year later when John asked her to move into 238, she agreed. They have a DRD named Bertram, a bala shark named Bruno, roughly two dozen sea monkeys, an as-yet-unnamed fish, and Toasty who Aeryn would like to make into scrap metal.
Relationships
Aeryn met John Crichton before school started, and they were reunited when he enrolled. They've been together ever since, excluding the breakup when she left the planet. It didn't take anyway. They got engaged the night of graduation, moved to Cambridge in the summer of 2007.
Despite not being the most social person ever, she's actually made some close friends in Fandom, including Rory Gilmore, Anakin Skywalker, Callisto, Angel, Molly Hayes, Isabel Evans, Luke Skywalker, Jamie Madrox and Peter Parker.
In November 2006, Aeryn learned that Anakin, who she previously thought had been killed by Darth Vader, was Darth Vader. Who she had told flat-out she would kill if she could. She kept it quiet until Vader was killed on the second Death Star and came back in the form of a clone of his 24-year-old self. Now she just wants China.

Other
- Aeryn is in Gun Club and ran Flight Club for a semester, taken over from Anakin. She's also somehow become the go-to girl for combat training, having worked with Cameron Mitchell, Isabel Evans, Molly Hayes, Peter Parker, Luke Skywalker, Rory Gilmore and Melaka Fray.
- There are quite a few species differences between Sebaceans and humans. Everyone where Aeryn comes from has translator microbes, which colonize at the base of the brain and translate other languages into their own. The fact that anyone can understand her is part of the joy of handwaving. While this means Aeryn can understand the languages around the school, things like slang don't go over too well and she misunderstands a lot of things. This has also posed a problem when it comes to reading. Aeryn can do it, but doesn't like to, and she won't read or write unless she has to. It also means she won't have anything to do with E-mail unless it's necessary. (She hijacked a keyboard in the first floor computer lab, rearranging the letters into an ABC format instead of QWERTY so she can communicate that way.)
- Otherwise Sebaceans are stronger than humans, and have better eyesight and hearing. However, the major thing is heat delirium, aka The Living Death. Sebaceans lack the gland that regulates heat, leading to the shutdown of the nervous system, leading to eventual permanent comatose state. On days when the temperature is in the 90's in Fandom, Aeryn will be found indoors or only outside for very short periods of time.
Outside Fandom
Living Arrangements
In July of 2007 John and Aeryn left Fandom to move into a one-bedroom apartment in Cambridge, MA, not far from Harvard. Callisto has joined them for a while as of August '07.
At homecoming 2007, Aeryn found out from Alianne of Pirate's Swoop that she was pregnant. After putting it off for almost a full year, Aeryn decided to go ahead with the pregnancy and Talyn Sun Crichton was born on July 4, 2008.
Job
TGI Friday's (July-November 2007)- Aeryn took a job as a waitress at a local TGI Friday's, which she quickly hated dead. Her boss was Jerry, and she has a coworker named Mark, along with a flaky blonde named Andrea that she hated. She quit/was fired after they overworked her and tried to make her work on her honeymoon.
Wal-Mart (January 2008-present)- After a long search, Aeryn got to start working at Wal-Mart. They usually stuck her in back where she didn't have to deal with customers, but she seemed to be the only one who knew what she was doing, which led to near-regular hours and a promotion and raise.
Starbucks (March 2008-June 2008)- Out of concern for their finances, Aeryn took a second job in the same strip mall complex as Wal-Mart, working as a barista at Starbucks. She was let go when new management took over and replaced the current staff.
Adventures
Operation Manchurian Candidate
After some time being antagonized by John, M. Parker decided to get back at him by making him and Cameron Mitchell think they were each other. Aeryn agreed, still to new to this group of people to feel comfortable saying no, and Beka Valentine came up with the idea to make herself and Aeryn look like they'd switched. Beka was unable to go through with it from the get-go, and after several calls from her saying so, Aeryn gave in to guilt and annoyance and told John what was happening.
John Crichton mindfrell #1
After OMC ended and Drusilla put everything back the way it was, she took the opportunity to mess with John, because that's what you do. He spent a couple days not being himself, to the point that Aeryn didn't want much to do with him. When she realized it wasn't his fault, she was among those who went to confront Drusilla to make her fix it.
Hathor!Janet
Aeryn was there with Jack O'Neill when it was revealed that Janet Fraiser had been possessed by Hathor. She was hit with a ribbon device and had a pulse rifle destroyed, and was one of the people fighting Janet in the confrontation.
Zombie weekend
Aeryn fought on the front lines against the zombies, where she first met Angelus as Angel.
Angel's souling
She almost accidentally stumbled into 238 due to plans with John, only to find out that a newly-souled Angel had found his way to John's doorstep. Completely untrusting at first, she was convinced he needed to be taken to the police, and only tried talking him out of a suicide attempt because she figured he shouldn't get away with things that easily. She came around.
Snow monster weekend
She was the first student down to the gym and made it through the fight uninjured. She also still has a grenade left over from that weekend.
Study group
Darla had been terrorizing several of the residents of Fandom, leading to an altercation where Vala Mal Doran was stabbed. When Darla claimed she was souled, Aeryn went with Parker to the jail to inteview her, and left not entirely convinced. Around this time, Cam and Angel decided something needed to be done. Invited into the group by Cam, Aeryn led a team consisting of Anakin Skywalker, M. Parker, Molly Hayes and Bridge Carson into the hotel looking for Darla. Instead they ran into Drusilla, who proceeded to mess with their heads. They didn't get either of them, but did take out several vampires and escaped with nothing more than cuts and bruises.
Return to the Peacekeepers
Called back to the Peacekeepers, Aeryn spent two weeks semi-happily doing battle and killing things, but drew the line at massacreing refugees, including children. After disobeying the order and pulling a weapon on another soldier, Aeryn was arrested and sentenced to death by her commanding officer. She was more or less forced to escape by an officer named Velorek, sustaining a knife wound that left scarring, and returned to Fandom via Prowler.
John's chipping
VillainCon brought about a Peacekeeper by the name of Scorpius, who was actually there to investigate the weapons Aeryn brought to Fandom. Scorpius wasn't even from this timeline, but knew his own John and Aeryn. Which was why he implanted a neural chip into John's brain. When John began to hallucinate Scorpius and Pa'u Zotoh Zhaan told them that in her reality, the chip caused John to kill Aeryn, they brought in Isabel Evans to do a dream walk and if not banish Scorpius, make him easier to control. As for the real Scorpius, he left the island before the chip was discovered, and Aeryn watched his transport explode on takeoff. He's believed to be dead.
Weetiny weekend
For a weekend, Aeryn was turned five years old. She discovered the playground and played tag with the principal, taught Jake Gavin how to count, explored the elevator, and married John in a weetiny ceremony.
Mummies
Aeryn led team two, consisting of Callisto, Anakin Skywalker, Peter Parker, Alec, Dean Winchester, Sam Winchester, Buffy Summers (II), D'anna Biers, and Elizabeth 'Z' Delgado to fight off mummies that had been seen in the area. They took out eight and a giant scorpion.
Evil!Jamie
When Jamie Madrox was being impersonated by an evil duplicate of himself, he broke the heat to the second floor dorms so that Aeryn went to investigate it. Then he locked her inside the boiler room, where she suffered moderate heat delirium. She was rescued by John and Anakin, and after a couple of days in the clinic, recovered.
Printheth Aeryn
After being bitten by a gremlin, Aeryn believed she was a princess locked in a tower. In reality, she wore a dress and blonde wig from her Halloween costume the year before and sat on a couch in the first floor lobby. Talking with a lisp and hitting on every nice-looking guy that came around, she was finally "rescued" by Anakin, who opened the door for her. The bite wore off at the end of her performance of Ever The Same at Caritas. She managed not to kill herself.
Mommy Dearest
Having only met her mother Xhalax once, Aeryn was surprised to see her show up in Fandom to arrest her. She was kidnapped and taken back to her home galaxy on a Peacekeeper Marauder. After finding out way more trauma about her family history than she ever expected, Aeryn crashed the ship to escape and ended up on a commerce planet. There she ran into John Crichton, Samantha Carter, Peter Parker, Luke Skywalker and Isabel Evans, who helped her escape by shooting off the Peacekeepers who came after them. They returned to Fandom unharmed.
Troll weekend
After trolls invaded the island, an injured John called Aeryn to tell her what was happening. She armed herself and went to rescue him outside of Empire Records, where she learned her pulse weapons wouldn't work on them. Intending to go back to the school and alert those in charge, they walked right into the trolls attacking the dorms. Aeryn used the gauntlet, a weapon from another species that ran on a fuel that pumped drugs into the wearer's system to make them more aggressive. Aeryn did battle with a couple of them, killing one with her keys, until the fluid began to run out, leaving her drained. She spent Sunday useless, and is going to be bitter about that for a while.
AU Weekend
Aeryn woke up believing herself to be a doctor named Bettina Fairchild. After thinking she'd had a one night stand with John, she spent most of her time hitting on everyone, including Rory Gilmore, Isabel Evans and Ares, and making out with Peter Pevensie. She's still making apologies.
Weetiny adults
When the adults on the island were turned into children, Aeryn spent her time being hypered at by Rose Tyler (II), telling Emma Frost that she wouldn't dance, and kind of adoring Alianne of Pirate's Swoop.
Scorpy!John
When Scorpius returned to town, Aeryn welcomed this by trying to shoot him. His armor protected him and she was arrested, leaving Scorpius free to mess with John's brain until he left, dropping the charges against Aeryn on his way out. Scorpius had also reactivated the chip he'd left in John's brain a year before, which meant that upon waking up the next morning, he beat Aeryn unconscious before assaulting Jamie, knocking Cam out and putting Rory in the hospital. Aeryn was found by Molly and Jamie, who she took with her to confront John in the junkyard. Realizing the chip had to be taken out, the three took John in the transport pod to return to the Uncharted Territories. There, Aeryn sold a few weapons to get the money for the surgery, and there was a confrontation with the Peacekeepers that they escaped. The next stop was an ice planet where they found a Diagnosan willing to look at John. He regained lucidity just before the surgery, asking Aeryn to kill him, and was taken over by Scorpius again. After the chip was removed and John was himself again, they returned to Fandom for much-earned awkward time.
AU Kids weekend
Aeryn only had one child show up, a five-year-old boy named D'Argo. She and John showed him the Prowler and let him name Aeryn's fish, and she was not a happy person when the kids had to go back through the portal to their real parents.
Weetiny weekend 2
Six-year-old Aeryn got into fights with John, learned about monster hunting from Mel, and poked Anakin with sticks.
Graduation
As kind of a joke, Aeryn brought a couple of fighting sticks with her that she'd gotten from Peter Parker over a year before to graduation in May 2007, as last year's had been interrupted by a giant gremlin. She got to use them as aliens invaded and blew up the school. She killed three before they were defeated.
Wedding
On November 10, 2007, John and Aeryn were married in Boston, MA. Groosmen were Angel (Character) (best man), Anakin Skywalker, Peter Parker, Peter Pevensie and Charlie Kawalsky, bridesmaids were Rory Gilmore (maid of honor), Samantha Carter, Alanna Trebond, Molly Hayes and Isabel Evans. Despite most of the wedding party- including the bride- being armed, no one was injured before, during or after the ceremony.
Sam's death
In December of 2007, Aeryn got a call from Jack Harkness to join him in Colorado. There she met with him, Anakin, Kawalsky and Cedric Diggory, where they learned that Sam Carter had been killed in an accident, and Jack had a way to turn back time so that it had never happened. Everyone agreed, and while time was turned back it opened up a rift in time and space, allowing creatures called Reapers into their reality that they had to keep at bay. When it was over, the creatures had gone and Sam was alive. Anakin wiped the memories from Jack, and the others promised never to speak of it again.
